Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. (John 14:12 – NKJV).
A renewed mind is a transformed life. One of the first things we need to do as we begin or continue our journey to maturity is to cast aside every doctrinal belief that says scripture is not applicable to us today. Just because we have never seen something doesn’t mean it is not happening. We are never aware of everything that is happening in our world.
Somewhere in the world a dead person is coming back to life because someone believes God.
Somewhere in the world, someone’s limb is growing back because someone believes God.
Faith is the practice of seeing a reality that is not yet as if it already is.
Believe God for the impossible because it is possible. We can never see what we don’t believe God for.
The Word of God is clear: What Jesus did, you can also do. Without even trying to wrap our minds around the “greater works,” at the very least we should be healing the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead and giving hope to a world drowning in despair.
There are captives held in prisons not visible to the naked eye who needs to be set free. Isn’t God sending you? Are you not a “sent one?” Didn’t God anoint you? Didn’t God give you Himself, then told you to “go?” So, what are you waiting on? Let’s go change the world.
Father, You said if I believe, I can manifest Your heart and mind in creation. Lord, I believe. Help Thou my unbelief, in Jesus’ Name. Amen,
