There is a throne inside every believer. The church language puts it like this: “Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. Come in to stay.” There is an established throne where Jesus sits inside the believer. God also says, I have put eternity in the heart (Ref: Ecclesiastes 3:11).

God sits on a throne inside the center of a believer. If a throne room is there, then everything that is described in the throne room of God that we read about in Revelation is also there.

Jacob had a vision. He saw a ladder that reached from earth to heaven and angels going up and down on it. Did you know that the human DNA is shaped like a spiral ladder extending from bottom to top? Even Jesus mentioned that to Nathaniel: He would see angels ascending and descending on the Son of Man (Ref: John 1:51). This is a description of you as well: As He is, so are you (Ref: 1 John 4:17).

There is a ladder in you that extends from earth all the way into heaven, and there are angels ascending and descending on and in you.

According to one of the Christian mystics of the 1900s, the holy of holies is in the center of your soul and you can access it through love and gratitude, adoring praise and deep humility, as you worship God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. This is the secret place of the Most High God.

In this secret place, there is no evil. This is where we find rest from spiritual warfare. Only those who dwell outside the holy of holies will find themselves constantly engaged in a battle with demons. In the secret place, there is rest from warfare, and we have entered that era, according to Prophet Bob Jones, of rest: we will rest in God, and God will rest in us. (CLICK HERE to read the 100 year prophecy).

Those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Ref: Psalm 91:1). In this secret place, you will find rest for your souls.

The kingdom of God is within the believer. The Holy Spirit who bears the fullness of the godhead is also inside. How glorious of a being a man must be for the Creator of the universe to make His abode inside.

Here is the issue: if we focus externally, we can never attain to the fullness of what is within.

You lack nothing. All things are yours (Ref: 1 Corinthians 3:21). If you keep expecting to get it from outside, you will develop a false perception that you don’t have it.

We must acknowledge that the secret place of the Most High God is within and we must practice to dwell there and live from there. Those who live in and from that place will abide in the shadow of the almighty.
